Infernal Affairs 1 & 2/ the twins effect
decided shawn yu isnt that bad after all. think he's a pretty good actor. he looked quite good in the show. edison looked better in twins effect though.
the sadest part was when the bad guy died, and shawn was hugging him till someone dragged him away. shawn was an undercover and the bad guy was his brother. he was helping the police get his brother. internal conflict within self. another brutus i guess (though in this case there's evidence that the bad guy was indeed bad.)

Underworld
ok. the show was ok, not great but also not terrible. its advertisment looked more exciting though. feel cheated again. but shall give it a little credit since it's my first NC-16 movie. haha. it was a cool movie. the dark clothes and accent. the bullets were damn nice too.
i dont understand why Underworld is NC-16 though. there's no sex scenes or any extremely gross scenes. the film distributors must have decided to slap on this rating to make it seem more enticing. and create a chance for me to be embarrassed. the ticket seller and the ticket collector both asked if we really were 16. had to show them our ic/bus-pass which they looked carefully to make sure we were indeed 16. and the ticket seller was so damn rude. she threw my bus-pass back to me and the change. wth.
still cant find kim a present. pau and i decided that his present was too difficult to buy. haha.
oh yes. spotted a few cute guys today. heehee. the one at burger king was the cutest. he was from overseas family school. i could only see his back while pau couldnt see anything so she kept turning her head to see. i think his friend noticed cuz she was staring at us. haha. the other was a vjc guy, though he was a little short, so i couldnt really see him. haha. and the third guy was from pjc. hmmm. saw lots of sajc and acjc people too. i spotted the saint shirt a few times. hee.

makes no difference
for next week, people who scored well need not turn up for school. good news? yes, if you scored damn well. which i didnt. the only good thing out of it is that i get to wake up a little later and maybe end school a little earlier too. oh well, better than nothing.
got classmates to write autographs and from one of their autograph, i realised sometimes the little things others did sub-consciously matter to someone else. it's really something really minor, like maybe just saying hi. i thank my lucky stars that i got great friends. it would have been a torture if i was to last 4 years in school with hardly any friends.
oh yes. checking cca records tomorrow and something tells me that i'm gonna make noise again. that's cuz in the record sheet today, my grade was b3. which means they didnt add the SYF thingy again. shit them. what's the point of my checking if each time i correct the mistake, they don't?
cant wait till i'm out of this mess of a place.

it was just a phase. and now, i'm out of it. i feel free somehow, even though i was never trapped in the first place. this is a good thing. this shows that i'm growing up. haha.

missing from school for just one day. one day which has only two lessons, and my desk was already full of papers. oh god. there's more to come too. i will never finish them unless i get off my butt and start studying, like right now. right. i'll inform you if i do manage that.
last-minute meeting for teachers today. wonder what is it about. mrs t and ms o didnt want to tell us the actual reason for the meeting. mdm m will be announcing it tomorrow though. i hope it's an announcement saying that school ends this week. haha.
came to a conclusion today after realising that my friend actually did quite well even though she didnt study (she didnt even know she had geography exam that day. super or what?). some people are just born smart, while others need to take an extra effort to get the same results. i belong to the latter, yet the effort is not there.
oh yes. kim's birthday today. guess what? it's the same day as the birthday of the God of Wealth, according to leow. haha. as pau said, it's fated. remembering the things he did in primary school, yup, i think so too. hee.
