christmas!
it's christmas! it doesnt really feel like it though. and it doesnt feel like i'm flying off in a couple of hours either. i'm still here blogging. and my luggage looks empty. i feel as if i'm not packed.
just got home from pau's house. spent the night at her house. watched my first midnight movie, Ju-on 2. it was not nice. it was confusing. it was not scary. cuz the "scary" events keep repeating. think the people in the cinema were/should be rather pissed with me and irene. cuz we kept laughing and making comments. haha. sorry. the movie was boring. i need to speak.
after the movie, we took a super slow walk to pau's house. played uno, card games, tried to watch movies and managing only one in the end, and slept for a while. we managed to squeeze 5 people on a queen size bed. haha. poor kim and seng slept on the floor. and something damn funny happened. but i shadnt mention it here. i'll just say it provided much entertainment and laughter. oh yes, i got half drunk and got pretty high. i even called the wastepaper basket the toilet bowl. felt my head swimming. i wonder how it would feel if i was fully drunk. face got so damn red it looked as if i put too much blusher. drank lots of water to prevent myself from getting too drunk, but ended up going to the toilet lots of times. haha. but since i could remember what happened, i'm wasnt drunk.
oh and i noticed something very interesting. it's more than one thing actually. but i wouldnt say anything. someone might try to kill me if i did. hee. maybe i could be reading too much into things. but for all we know, it could be true. i'm good at guessing. haha.
we should do this more often. we even have an alcohol fund now. haha.
oh did i mention i went to cbox to work? yep. they finally called mintae, and asked her to inform me. worked from 7pm to 11pm today before meeting the rest. someone actually thought i was working from 7am to 11pm. haha. it didnt really go that well. i actually forgot the way to the kitchen of cbox. and i forgot lots of things. i only remember how to prepare chicken rice. haha. so i had to keep asking people how to do this and that. lucky the cooks were nice people and i think they remember me. oh yes, sharon actually remembers me! i thought she didnt even recognise me. and there's this china guy who reminds me of tom, as in the looks. saw tom on my way out. i thought jun said he's working somewhere else? hmm. got these 2 other part-timers that i dont really like. i felt they were trying to get too close too the waiters there. and they were rather slack. hiding in the kitchen most of the time and helping people prepare chicken rice when outside was so damn busy. they were free with touches. somehow i just dont have a good impression of them. monica, on the other hand, is actually quite nice. she waited for me to change and collect pay. got extra cuz it's christmas eve! saw a few rather good looking guys while collecting my pay. at one point, i turned my head to look behind and got a shock cuz one of the guy was just right behind me. when monica and i left, they said, "xin lai de" rather loudly. monica said something about the guy being her friend or something. i couldnt really catch what she said. i think those guys work in banquet. anyway, most of my pay is already spent yesterday. and i still own people money. and people own me money. should i work again after i come back from thailand? the pay wasnt that bad.

umm.
mum thinks i have a bf. here's why. cuz i was on the phone quite late that day. i hardly use the phone and the one time i use, she gets suspicious. and irene messaged like at 1 plus in the morning, and she was asking, "what friend is it? so late still message!". and i have been going out almost everyday. such that she had to ask, "you going out with girl or guy?". was quite irritated with her, cuz it just shows she dont trust me. i have never lied to her about where i was going. i always inform her when i'm going out. and she still had to say, "you better be careful. later get taken advantage." told her i always go out in her group, and closed the door behind me though she was still talking. i just couldnt be bothered.
anyway, what's so wrong about it? i'm 16. maybe she forgot that.

christmas with omers
had an early christmas celebration with the omers today. i woke up at 10.45am. called mintae to ask if there was work, but she was asleep. after that, i got too lazy to get ready to go out. spent the time reading newspaper before getting ready. was very late when i got there.
we went to marche. spent yet another rather large sum on food again. exchanged presents with one another, talked and gossiped. all the seafood names came up. haha. they all happen to be tiff's friends.
think i saw sg too. shu says she's sure it's him. but she refused to say hi. haha. we kept turning round to look at his table. think he noticed it?
after eating, we went taka to take photos. we looked like crazy people released from woodbridge. sitting on the stairs. lying on the floor. taking while on the escalator. after taking quite a number of photos, i realised there was a no camera sign at the doors. haha. but we hecked it, and continued taking. even went to the main shops area to take. that was when the embarrassing thing happened. ok. so there's the path to walk to the shops right? we stood at one side, and asked someone to take photo for us. and just nice, a bunch of people decided to walk that path. so in the end, there was like two group of people on either side of us, waiting for us to finish taking the photo. if you were standing afar looking, i bet you would think something interesting happened. haha. we were so malu-ated.
this might be one of the last times we will go out as a group. i'm gonna miss going out with them.
oh well, this has been a fun day!

Lord Of The Ring: Return of the King
finally watched it today, after Love Me If You Dare. it was quite good, but i think i prefer the second one. and i made through the whole show without having to go to the toilet. haha. there's some questions and comments though. and i couldnt really remember what went on in the first and second show. i only remember the scenes where legolas fought with wow-ness. haha.
1) why cant/didnt the white magician (cant spell his name) use his magic to save the middle earth? the only time he used magic on to chase the stupid flying creatures.
2) the caretaker of the throne is simply crazy and dumb. there's a war at his doorstep and yet he can sit in his great hall eating lots of food and asking the hobbit to sing. oh yes, he almost burnt himself and his son alive.
3) the hobbits look gay.
4) LEGOLAS IS SUPER GOOD LOOKING!!!!! there was so little screen time of him though. there should have been more!!!! you could hear the deep intake of breath all around each time he comes out. haha.
5) how could the ghosts fight? dont they go through any solid? and the middle earth people could have just seeked the ghost help in the beginning. the sword was with them all the while. the king was there all the time. what a waste of people resources.
6) the two people sitting beside me were super irritating.
7) sam the hobbit is damn loyal. think he should have been the hero. he didnt get affected by the ring right?
8) fredo is dumb for believing that idiot over a friend who has come so far with him even when he was not needed to do so.
9) legolas and the drawf are really funny together. reminds me of two friends. in fact, other characters remind me of these two friends too. haha.
10) the hobbits are so cute in the show! so small-size.
the show was worth the $6.50. if only i saw more of legolas. ah....

Love Me If You Dare
it's a nice show, though the ending is a little weird. didnt really get it. i must say the dares that they dare each other are really the extreme and rather dumb. and the most stupid part is the fact that they love each other but denied it for years. (if you are planning to watch the show, stop here.) they got together only after 10 years of marriage to different people and died together by burying themselves in cement. i still dont understand why they must die. after all those years, the day they admit they like each other, they die??????????
anyway, this time i didnt have to show my bus pass to get in. hee. next entry on LOTR 3.

why am i writing this? cuz someone said i was mean. i'm actually a very nice people. haha. ok. maybe not very. but still nice.

today
could have started work tomorrow. but decided to let mintae do that shift. dont really feel like working tomorrow and dont like working alone. but i think i'll change the "dont like working alone" mind set very soon. i need the money. rather desperately. if you dont receive any christmas cards this year, it's cuz i was too broke to afford them. haha.
think i'll go watch a movie with ed and LY, since afterall i promised him. after the 28th. it feels good to always be able to go out almost everyday. haha. no homework! yea!
oh yes. title is "today" so shall talk about today. hmm. played badminton again today. was supposed to play at the CC at 12pm, but there was some event going on. went to jaz's house to slack the time away. thinking back, how did we spend 4 hours or so? we didnt do anything much. we didnt watch more than 5 minutes of "spirit", we didnt really finish any game we played. this reminds me, i must ask JY how to do the fortune telling thingy again.
finally decided to play badminton at some outdoor court. played at hilllock there before we were chased off by the takwando people. (however you spell it) -there were these 2 young kids there. one guy, one girl. both were so so cute! and the guy is so young, but he's already a under-aged black belt! wow.- went to the court under my block instead. wind was strong today, so couldnt really play well. sam was really sporting about doing his ballet moves. but alas, was seen by the people in this flat. haha. must mention that sam's a violent player too. i bet irene would agree too. haha.
have something to do for everyday till the 25th. think the days would pass very fast. cant wait for me to be in thailand. need money quick.
watching love me if you dare and LOTR tomorrow. finally!

Jurong Point
mum got into some contest thingy at Jurong Point. you know, the one TV always advertise about winning a car? yep. she was one of the eight. she didnt win the car though. got the $388 prize voucher instead. think we already spent most of it. haha. watch channel 8 on the 26th at 8pm. you might see me in the crowd. haha. oh oh! and guess what? i never thought i would say this, but actually Randall Tan looks quite good in real person. i like his hair. on tv he always play the loser guy though. mark lee on the other hand was quite rude in person. always making fun of the fatter people. though he was funny at the same time, but i pity the people he teased.
the event was rather entertaining. though rude, mark is a good emcee. randall is a good co-emcee.
